James McClean enjoying life at Sunderland

Sunderland striker James McClean has revealed that he is enjoying life with the North East club.

The 22-year-old, who joined from Irish side Derry City over the summer, was on target for the Black Cats in their 2-0 FA Cup third-round win at Peterborough United.

"The manager has given me a chance and I'm enjoying my football," he told ITV Sport. "I'm just trying to get as many games under my belt as possible."

Sunderland have been given a home tie against local rivals Middlesbrough in the fourth round of the competition.
