Sunderland's Younes Kaboul upbeat over chances against Crystal Palace

Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul believes that his side are more than capable of taking all three points from their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul has revealed that he is upbeat over his side's prospects in their Premier League match against Crystal Palace.

The Black Cats have recorded just one win this season and are currently 19th in the table following back-to-back defeats at the hands of Everton and Southampton.

However, the Frenchman believes that he and his teammates are more than capable of securing their second win of the campaign in their trip to Selhurst Park.

Kaboul told the club's official website: "Palace have a good team and they've done well since the beginning of the season. The win they got at Liverpool will make them confident but we have to be ready for the game ourselves.

"I think we have a chance to get a good result there if we can get ourselves 100% ready and work hard together.

"Defensively we need to do the same game [as Southampton] and try to score, of course. But right now we need to make sure that everyone is 100% ready for Palace."

Sam Allardyce's men travel to face Palace on Monday.
