Stoke City 'ponder swoop for ex-Fulham player Chris Baird'

Stoke City are reportedly the favourites to sign former Fulham player Chris Baird, who was released by the club at the end of the season.

Stoke City are reportedly considering a move for former Fulham player Chris Baird.

The 31-year-old became a free agent at the end of the season when he was released by the Cottagers following six years at the club.

While West Bromwich Albion, Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace are said to be interested in Baird, it is believed that Stoke are leading the race for the player, according to talkSPORT.

Baird has experience playing in both midfield and defence.
