Oussama Assaidi "very happy" at Stoke City

On-loan Stoke City midfielder Oussama Assaidi reveals that he is "very happy" at the club and refuses to rule out a move to the Britannia this summer.

On-loan Stoke City midfielder Oussama Assaidi has revealed that he is "very happy" at the club and would consider a permanent move to the Britannia this summer.

Assaidi has spent the current season on loan from Liverpool, making 25 appearances and scoring five goals in a successful campaign for the Potters.

The 25-year-old is due to return to Anfield at the end of the campaign but refused to rule out a move back to Stoke should he be allowed to leave Liverpool.

"I don't know yet what my future is, but I say always that I'm very happy at Stoke. The manager believes in me, that's what I need," Assaidi told The Sentinel.

"He started me against Fulham and I'm very happy I scored and got man of the match as well because if you don't play for seven weeks that's very nice. I didn't hear the fans singing 'sign him up' but that's nice that they believe in me and I'm very happy that the fans were singing that.

"I don't know what I can say about it because I'm still under contract at Liverpool and I have to go back, but I'm very happy, we'll see what happens. We will see what Liverpool say. If they say there's no chance to play there then Stoke is a good option."

Stoke are currently 10th in the Premier League table and on course for their best-ever finish in the top flight.
