Tottenham to move for Pierre Kalulu in January?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan defender Pierre Kalulu in January.

Antonio Conte is keen to strengthen his squad when the transfer window opens next month and signing a centre-back is believed to be one of his main priorities.

While Tottenham have previously been linked with Inter Milan defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar, they appear to have turned their focus to Inter's local rivals.

According to Calciomercato, Spurs are considering a move for Kalulu, who is believed to be valued at around £44m by AC Milan.

With the North London club set to face competition from the likes of Newcastle United and Real Madrid, they could offer Japhet Tanganga as part of a deal, with the Serie A champions supposedly interested in the 23-year-old.

Tanganga came through the Tottenham academy, and he has made 44 appearances for the senior side, but he has only featured in one competitive game this term.

Meanwhile, Kalulu has been a prominent figure in AC Milan's side, appearing in all 21 of their matches this season.
