Sunderland are reportedly closing on a move for out-of-contract striker Louis Saha.
The 33-year-old left Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season after spending a short spell at the club, and it is understood that he wants to remain in England.
According to The Mirror, Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill has moved to the head of the queue for the experienced Frenchman.
Saha has also represented Newcastle United, Fulham, Manchester United and Everton.
