Tottenham Hotspur open to offloading Gareth Bale or Luka Modric?

Tottenham are reportedly open to letting Gareth Bale or Luka Modric leave the club if the side fail to secure the financial boost from Champions League qualification.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to sell either Gareth Bale or Luka Modric if the North London side fail to secure a Champions League spot by the end of the season.

Both players have been instrumental for Spurs this season, but Modric is believed to have received interest from the likes of Manchester United, while Bale is thought to be on the radar of Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

It is understood that Spurs will go through with the sale of one of the stars in order to make up for the money that they would lose if they don't finish the season in the top four, according to Goal.com.

Wales international Bale recently hinted that he would be forced to consider a move to La Liga if the opportunity was presented.
