Tottenham Hotspur target Blackpool's Matt Gilks?

Tottenham Hotspur are understood to be preparing a move for Matt Gilks.

The Blackpool player, 31, is out of contract in the summer, which means that Spurs would not need to pay a transfer fee.

With Brad Friedel's deal at White Hart Lane also expiring at the end of the season, and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly interested in signing Hugo Lloris, Tim Sherwood's side are eager to bring in another goalkeeper, SportsDirect News claims.

Gilks has been at Bloomfield Road since 2008.
