Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their interest in Blackpool winger Thomas Ince with a view to £10m January bid, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly stepped up their interest in Blackpool winger Thomas Ince by arranging to watch the starlet's future matches.

Ince has caught the eye of a number of leading Premier League clubs with a string of impressive performances for Blackpool this season.

The 20-year-old has been linked with Newcastle United and his former club Liverpool in recent weeks, with Spurs joining the race for his signature.

According to The Sun, Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas has instructed coaches Tim Sherwood and Les Ferdinand to monitor Ince's progress carefully with a view to a £10m January bid.

The England Under-21 international has scored 10 goals in 16 Championship games this season.
