Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Atletico Madrid wideman Yannick Carrasco as a potential signing this week.
Throughout this summer, Spurs have proven to be one of the most proactive clubs in the transfer market as they bid to close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool.
However, head coach Antonio Conte has also witnessed a number of players depart the Premier League outfit, either on a temporary or permanent basis.
The Italian has consistently stated that any players who exit the club would require a replacement, and the likes of Sergio Reguilon and Bryan Gil are expected to move elsewhere on loan in the coming days.
Reguilon appears highly likely to sign for Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan deal, potentially resulting in Spurs attempting to bring a player in the opposite direction.

According to The Telegraph, Conte is interested in signing Carrasco having been a long-term admirer of the Belgium international.
Carrasco is currently in his second spell at Wanda Metropolitano having opted to return to the club at the start of 2020 after a spell in China with Dalian Professional.
Across two spells with Atletico, Carrasco has contributed 37 goals and 39 assists from his 222 appearances in all competitions, also winning the La Liga title during that time.
Although he has featured in each of the club's three La Liga fixtures this campaign, only one outing has come from the starting lineup.

Diego Simeone has already allowed Renan Lodi to move to Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan deal, making room for Reguilon to potentially move to Atletico.
However, Saul Niguez can also provide backup in the left wing-back role, seemingly freeing up Atletico to cash in on Carrasco should they wish to do so.
Carrasco has two years remaining on his contract at Atletico, a scenario which may lead to the Spanish giants being open to generating a significant sum for his signature.
While Spurs are well stocked in each wing-back role and in the final third, the 28-year-old would be viewed as an alternative in those respective areas of the pitch.
