Spurs, Man City 'want Macedonian starlet'

Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Fenerbahce starlet Elif Elmas.

Elmas only joined Fenerbahce last year, but he has already established himself as a regular fixture in Phillip Cocu's side, despite being just 19 years old.

The midfielder has featured in all 12 of the Turkish outfit's matches so far this season, and his performances are understood to have attracted interest from a number of clubs across Europe.

TalkSPORT reports that Spurs and Man City are among those interested parties and are considering an approach ahead of the January transfer window.

Elmas is already a full international, having played five times for the Macedonia senior team since making his debut aged just 17 last year.
