Spurs make approach for Max Aarons?

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made an approach to Norwich City over their full-back Max Aarons, amid speculation over the youngster's future.

The 21-year-old has featured in all but one of the Canaries' Championship matches this season, and Daniel Farke's side are already confirmed champions with one league game to play.

Spurs have registered their interest in Aarons before now but they will continue to pursue the youngster as they make right-back a priority position to fill this summer.

Football Insider reports that the East Anglian side are willing to let Aarons leave if their £30m price tag is reached and a 'gentleman's agreement' may force Norwich to sell Aarons.

The agreement states that if Aarons stayed at Carrow Road for one more season after relegation from the Premier League in 2020 then he would be able to leave after he had served that season.

The England Under-21 international has come through the academy at Norwich, making his first-team debut in 2018 and going on to make 129 appearances for the club.
