Tottenham Hotspur announce signing of Kevin Wimmer from FC Koln

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of defender Kevin Wimmer from FC Koln.

The Austria international revealed last weekend that he had agreed a deal to move to White Hart Lane this summer.

Now, Spurs have confirmed on their official website that the 22-year-old, whose final game for the Bundesliga side was a 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg, has put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

Wimmer made 72 appearances during his career in Germany and has two goals to his name.
