A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing up a move for Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson, but may face competition from Spanish side Sevilla.
Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson has emerged as a rumoured summer transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The 23-year-old, also reportedly on the radar of North London rivals Arsenal, is said to be seeking a club that can offer Champions League football.
According to France Football, Spurs manager Pochettino is a big admirer of the Frenchman and is hopeful that a deal can be struck.
Sanson, used predominantly in attacking midfield last season, bagged 10 goals for Marseille as they reached the final of the Europa League and finished fourth in the Ligue 1 standings.
The report indicates that Sevilla may rival any bid made by Tottenham as they also have their eyes on the Le Mans academy product.
