Report: Paris Saint-Germain to make £50m bid for Dele Alli

A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur ace Dele Alli is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain, who are willing to offer £50m to prise him away from the Premier League club.

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a £50m summer bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli, according to a report.

The Ligue 1 giants are said to be confident of landing the England international, who only signed a new six-year deal at White Hart Lane in September following last season's impressive breakthrough campaign.

Alli impressed in his first full season for the Lilywhites upon joining from MK Dons for a minimal fee, contributing to 19 goals in the Premier League on his way to being crowned the PFA Young Player of the Year.

According to The Mirror, PSG have been keeping tabs on Alli for a while and are determined to prise him away from Spurs, knowing that they can offer far more than his current salary of £60,000 a week.

European champions Real Madrid are also thought to be interested in the 20-year-old and are themselves weighing up a move, however, but it is claimed that Tottenham will do all they can to keep hold of Alli as they look to build a title-winning squad based around young, homegrown talent.
