Report: Hull City prepare bid for Aaron Lennon

Report: Hull plan bid for Lennon

Hull City have reportedly emerged as contenders for the signature of Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon.

Steve Bruce is believed to be an admirer of the 27-year-old, who is currently Tottenham's longest-serving player, and Hull will join a number of clubs in attempting to secure the services of the England international.

According to The Mirror, Lennon could be available for £7m in the January transfer window, and Bruce is keen for Hull to move quickly to agree a deal with Spurs.

The report claims that Stoke City and Queens Park Rangers are both considering making an offer for Lennon when the window reopens.

Lennon, who moved to White Hart Lane from Leeds United in 2005, has seen the likes of Erik Lamela, Nacer Chadli and Andros Townsend move ahead of him in the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino this season.
