Report: Lewis Holtby to undergo Hamburg medical ahead of Tottenham Hotspur exit

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby is reportedly closing in on a loan move to Hamburger SV.

The 23-year-old recently expressed a desire to play regularly due to his limited starts at White Hart Lane.

Last season, Holtby was sent out on loan to Fulham and is expected to leave Spurs again in another temporary move.

According to Goal.com, the midfielder will undergo a medical with Hamburg this morning after agreeing personal terms with the Bundesliga club.

Holtby joined Spurs from Schalke last year.
