Report: Bale offered to Spurs in £10m loan deal

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been offered the chance to re-sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid, but only if they agree to splash out £10m to take him on loan.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has left the Wales international out of his last two squads and has hinted that the outcast forward has no future at the Bernabeu.

So desperate are Los Blancos to get Bale off their books, The Sun claims that they are willing to take a huge hit on his £600,000-a-week wages if he heads to Spurs.

Tottenham would have to cough up around £250,000 a week to take the 29-year-old for the 2019-20 campaign, it is claimed, on top of handing over a £10m signing fee.

The report suggests that the Lilywhites' transfer committee are discussing the possibility of adding Bale to their squad on a loan deal, with Mauricio Pochettino keen to strengthen this summer on the back of two quiet windows.
