Redknapp: 'Defoe, Crouch going nowhere'

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that the loan signing of Emmanuel Adebayor does not mean that Jermain Defoe or Peter Crouch will be sold.

Spurs reportedly struck a deal with Manchester City yesterday for the temporary addition of the Togo striker, leading some to question the White Hart Lane futures of England internationals Defoe and Crouch.

However, Redknapp has revealed that following the sale of Robbie Keane to LA Galaxy, he now intends to keep the remaining strikers at the club.

"Robbie's gone, obviously, but at the moment we are okay and I don't see any movement," he stressed to reporters.

"I keep seeing about Crouchy but I don't know where that's come from. I love Crouchy, there's nothing there as far as I know.

"Jermain is playing at the moment and looking sharp."

Adebayor, 27, was due in London for a medical today.
