Emmanuel Adebayor will have a medical with Spurs today after the club agreed loan terms with Man City.
The 27-year-old striker, who is worth around £25 million, was reportedly reluctant to take a pay cut after being dropped from the first team by Roberto Mancini.
The switch to White Hart Lane on a loan came about after Spurs relented in agreeing to pay a larger percentage of his £170,000-a-week salary.
Adebayor will not be allowed to play in Tottenham's game with Man City this Sunday.
