Mauricio Pochettino quiet over Morgan Schneiderlin talk

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has remained quiet over speculation linking the club with a move for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Former Saints boss Pochettino is understood to be keen on bringing the 24-year-old France international to White Hart Lane this summer.

When asked if Spurs were planning a swoop for Schneiderlin, the Argentine told reporters: "We're trying to improve the squad but I never speak about players from other clubs. I have respect. I'm just focused on my team."

Schneiderlin joined Southampton from Strasbourg in 2008.
