Mauricio Pochettino 'laughs off' Sergio Aguero rumours

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino laughs off suggestions that his club could move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino was reduced to laughter when questioned on whether his club are monitoring Sergio Aguero's situation at Premier League rivals Manchester City.

Aguero has scored 11 times in 12 matches for Man City this season, but was left on the bench for the club's Champions League clash against Barcelona last week, which Pep Guardiola described as 'a tactical decision'.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal were monitoring the Argentine's reported unhappiness, but Pochettino broke from a smirk into a laugh when questioned on Friday afternoon.

"Not true, 100% not true," Pochettino told reporters on the supposed Aguero interest.

Tottenham will return to Premier League action at home to the champions Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
