Kyle Naughton 'close to completing Swansea City move'

Kyle Naughton's £5m switch from Tottenham Hotspur to Swansea City is to be completed in the next 24 hours, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Naughton will reportedly complete his switch to Swansea City tomorrow afternoon, having undergone a medical with the club.

The 26-year-old, who has failed to make his mark during five years at White Hart Lane, is expected to move to South Wales for a fee just short of £5m.

It is claimed by the Daily Mail that Naughton will finalise terms on a deal within the next 24 hours, and could be included in the Swans' squad for this weekend's trip to face Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup.

Meanwhile, the transfer could spell the end of Neil Taylor's Swansea career, with Crystal Palace said to have made a fresh £4.5m bid for the Wales international.
