Thomas Lemar 'to turn down Premier League move amid Spurs, Wolves interest'

Lemar 'to turn down move to Premier League'

Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly likely to miss out on Atletico Madrid winger Thomas Lemar.

Since the beginning of the January transfer window, it has been suggested that the Spanish giants are keen to part ways with the France international, who has failed to contribute a goal or assist all season.

One report claimed that super-agent Jorge Mendes had been asked to try to take Lemar to Wolves due to his close relationship with owners Fosun International.

However, according to Le10Sport, the playmaker would prefer to see out the current campaign at Wanda Metropolitano.

The 24-year-old allegedly intends to assess his options during the summer, aware that Atletico will likely remain open to offers for his services.

The La Liga outfit are said to want in the region of £60m in order to agree to a sale.
