Erik Lamela 'to make cut-price Tottenham Hotspur exit'

Erik Lamela will reportedly return to Italy in a cut-price deal.

Erik Lamela, Tottenham Hotspur's out-of-favour striker, is reportedly set to leave the club this summer in a cut-price deal.

The 22-year-old was signed by Spurs for a fee of £30m last summer as part of a sizeable spending spree from the North London club.

However, the Argentina international has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League, and the Daily Mail claims that the striker could return to former club Roma for a 'much reduced price'.

Roma may face competition for Lamela's signature from Italian champions Juventus, but the fee is not expected to rise above £15m.

Spurs came back from 3-0 down to earn a draw at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
