Kieran Trippier seals Spurs switch

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of right-back Kieran Trippier from Burnley.

The 24-year-old joins Spurs on a five-year deal after they triggered a release clause in his Clarets contract.

"It's such a big club and now I just can't wait to get started and show everyone what I can do," Trippier told Spurs' website.

The Englishman started every Premier League game last season as Burnley were relegated from the top flight. In total, Trippier made 185 appearances in four years for the Clarets.
