Report: Kieran Trippier nears Tottenham Hotspur move after successful medical

Kieran Trippier 'passes Spurs medical'

Full-back Kieran Trippier is on the verge of a move to Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.

The Burnley player has been linked with a move away from Turf Moor since their relegation from the Premier League last month, and manager Sean Dyche confirmed that a bid had been received from Spurs earlier this week.

The move now looks to be edging closer after Sky Sports News claimed that Trippier had passed his medical yesterday.

The 24-year-old would become Spurs' second defensive signing this summer, following the capture of Kevin Wimmer from FC Koln.

Reports have suggested that Trippier will cost £3.5m
