Juventus, Inter Milan to do battle for Tottenham Hotspur's Mousa Dembele?

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele could reportedly be at the centre of a transfer tug of war between Juventus and Inter Milan.

The Belgium international is out of contract at the end of the season and is therefore able to negotiate terms with foreign clubs from January.

Juve have previously been tipped to make a move for the 31-year-old, but Calciomercato suggests that they now face competition from domestic rivals Inter, who are themselves after defensive-midfield cover.

Dembele, out of action until 2019 with an ankle injury, has been used 13 times by Mauricio Pochettino in all competitions this season.

Tottenham allegedly offered the former Fulham ace a new contract, but he turned down the chance to stay on in North London.
