Galatasaray deny Fernando Muslera, Tottenham Hotspur link

Galatasaray have denied suggestions that Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid for their goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

It had been reported that Spurs were interested in signing the 29-year-old and had approached the Uruguay international's representatives over a move at the end of the season.

Gala, however, have insisted that there has been no offer from White Hart Lane for the stopper.

"No offers have been received from Tottenham Hotspur nor have negotiations taken place for our goalkeeper Fernando Muslera," read a statement from the Turkish outfit.

Muslera joined Gala from Lazio in 2011 and is fast closing on 200 appearances for his current club.
