Dawson dismisses Spurs exit talk

Tottenham Hotspur captain Michael Dawson has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

It was reported last week that Hull City are among a quartet of teams who have shown an interest in the 30-year-old defender.

However, Dawson is eager to help Spurs achieve a top-four finish next season under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

"It's a great football club and I've loved every minute of it while I've been here," he told talkSPORT. "The fans have been superb to me since day one because I've had some ups and downs like everyone does.

"The expectations are high and the players want to achieve them. We want to be in the top four and hopefully next year we'll have another push."

Dawson arrived at White Hart Lane from Nottingham Forest in 2005.
