Crewe Alexandra hand trial to former Tottenham Hotspur youngster?

League One side Crewe Alexandra reportedly take former Tottenham Hotspur striker Cameron Lancaster on trial.

Former Tottenham Hotspur trainee Cameron Lancaster has reportedly started a trial period with Crewe Alexandra.

The 21-year-old is believed to have started training with the League One club and will then turn out in a friendly encounter this weekend.

Should he impress manager Steve Davis enough to earn a permanent deal, the 21-year-old striker could replace Max Clayton, who is currently training with Sunderland, according to the Crewe Guardian.

Lancaster made one Premier League appearance for Spurs.
