Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte confirms that he will soon hold transfer talks with the club over plans for the January window.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that he will soon hold talks with the club over plans for the January transfer window.

The Lilywhites are unbeaten domestically since the arrival of the ex-Chelsea and Inter Milan boss and have an EFL Cup semi-final first leg versus the Blues to look forward to on Wednesday.

Rumours continue to swirl surrounding possible incomings and outgoings at Tottenham, though, and Conte has confirmed that internal discussions will be held soon.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Conte said: "My expectation is to speak with my club and then to tell them my opinion. The club will know after I speak and decision they want to make."

Spurs are reportedly planning to sign a new right-wing back in the current transfer window, with the out-of-favour Matt Doherty expected to seek pastures new.

Conte has also revealed that Tottenham are checking on a couple of COVID-19 cases ahead of his return to Stamford Bridge in midweek.
