Tottenham Hotspur have announced that 18-year-old midfielder Alfie Devine has signed a new long-term contract until the summer of 2027.
The former Wigan Athletic youth product was previously due to become a free agent in the summer of 2024 but has now committed his long-term future to Tottenham for another three years.
Devine arrived at Tottenham in the summer of 2020 and made his senior debut for the Lilywhites in the 2020-21 FA Cup against Marine, scoring his side's fifth and final goal in that 5-0 third-round win.
The teenager is yet to make another senior appearance for the North London club, but he made the bench on three occasions in the Premier League last year.
Currently sidelined by a hamstring injury, Devine featured as a centre-forward for the Under-21s last month before entering the treatment room and has 11 goals and three assists to boast from 32 games at that level.
Devine has also earned 13 caps for the England Under-19s and was an integral player in their European Championships success earlier this year, scoring once and setting up two goals in five matches and playing 85 minutes against Israel in the final.
