Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane: 'We will keep fighting for the title'

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane says that his side will continue to fight for the Premier League title.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has insisted that his side will continue to fight for the league title, despite losing ground on leaders Leicester City following Monday's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.

Craig Dawson's equaliser for the Baggies gave the Foxes the chance to secure an unlikely Premier League crown this weekend with victory over Manchester United, but Kane remains upbeat about his team's plight.

"It has not gone. We need to keep fighting. We felt we needed to win this game so we are disappointed. We had enough chances in the first half to put it to bed. But we weren't good enough in the second half," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"We felt we could easily have won the game if we played in the second half like we did the first. It is football. All we can do is keep fighting.

"We have Chelsea next. Hopefully Man United can do us a favour."

Spurs edged their noses in front against the Baggies in the 33rd minute when Dawson put through his own net, but were unable to turn their dominance into three points.
