Andy Carroll is starting up front for Liverpool this afternoon away at Tottenham Hotspur, despite England manager Fabio Capello recently raising concerns over his fitness.

The 22-year-old partners Luiz Suarez in attack, while Charlie Adam and Lucas form the Reds' central midfield pairing.

For hosts Tottenham, Emmanuel Adebayor and Scott Parker will make their home debuts for the club.

Ledley King is also fit and will slot in at centre-back alongside Younes Kaboul.
