Tottenham Hotspur allegedly identify two Premier League managers as potential candidates to replace head coach Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified another two potential replacements for head coach Ange Postecoglou.

Last week, the Greek-Australian witnessed his side keep their hopes of 2024-25 silverware alive as they reached the Europa League quarter-finals.

However, Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Fulham has led to further speculation regarding the long-term future of Postecoglou with Spurs sitting in 14th place in the Premier League table.

Providing that the North Londoners remain in contention in Europe, there is little chance of the club's powers-that-be parting ways with the 59-year-old.

Nevertheless, as per The Telegraph, Spurs' hierarchy have added two more names to a shortlist of possible alternatives.

Premier League managers on radar

The report alleges that Marco Silva and Andoni Iraola - of Fulham and Bournemouth respectively - have admirers behind the scenes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Both bosses have kept their respective clubs in contention for European qualification throughout the campaign, taking advantage of teams such as Spurs, Manchester United and West Ham United sitting in the bottom half of the standings.

There will be no shortage of admirers for both the Portuguese and Spaniard, regardless of whether they earn a spot in a continental competition for 2025-26.

Spurs will seemingly monitoring any possible situations for the time being as they wait to see whether Postecoglou can deliver a trophy at the end of the season.

Now sitting 11 points behind eighth place, it appears highly unlikely that Spurs will be able to seal a European place through their league position this campaign.

Big moves pending for Silva, Iraola?

Earlier in his career, Silva moved around different jobs in the hope of enhancing his reputation, particularly when joining relegation-threatened Hull City in 2017.

Since 2021, Silva has been at Craven Cottage, lifting the Championship title in 2021-22 and establishing the club in the Premier League. His win ratio stands at 44.83% over 174 matches.

Iraola is in his second campaign at Bournemouth, impressively winning 31 of his 77 games since transforming the club from relegation candidates to contenders for a European spot.

The 42-year-old forged his reputation at Rayo Vallecano, doing a similar job with the Spanish side, before earning rave reviews for his time at the Vitality Stadium.
