A report claims that Antonio Conte has been approached by Tottenham Hotspur as doubts continue to grow over Nuno Espirito Santo's future.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with Antonio Conte over replacing Nuno Espirito Santo as their next head coach.

Nuno is under pressure at Spurs following an underwhelming start to his tenure, having won nine of his first 17 matches in charge.

A 3-0 loss to Manchester United on Saturday leaves Tottenham eighth in the Premier League with 10 games played.

According to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Spurs chiefs are growing concerned and may look to end Nuno's reign after just four months.

The report suggests that discussions have already begun with Conte's camp, and director of football Fabio Paratici is hoping to persuade his compatriot to return to English football.

Conte, who won the Premier League with Chelsea in 2016-17, has been out of work since leaving Inter Milan after guiding the club to Scudetto success last season.
