Los Angeles Galaxy have held Tottenham Hotspur to a 1-1 draw at The Home Depot Center.

Spurs went ahead in the 18th minute through Gareth Bale, who met Gylfi Sigurdsson's cross with his head.

The hosts drew level before the break when Junior Lopes fired home from Hector Jimenez's centre.

The game was played at a slow pace, with neither side really threatening to snatch a winner.
