Tottenham lineup vs. Everton: Predicted XI in must-win Premier League clash for Ange Postecoglou

New absentees added to lengthy injury list: Spurs predicted lineup vs. Everton

Tottenham Hotspur could be without even more first-team players when they travel to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.

Under-fire manager Ange Postecoglou revealed in his pre-match press conference on Friday that a few more players will potentially miss out after picking up knocks in midweek.

Timo Werner is a confirmed absentee and will miss the next three weeks with a hamstring tweak, while Brennan Johnson and Yves Bissouma have both picked up knocks which make them doubtful for this trip.

Should they all miss out, that trio will join Destiny Udogie, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero on the sidelines, with those three not set to return until February, while goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario remains out with a broken ankle.

Rodrigo Bentancur is still expected to miss out as a precaution after suffering a nasty concussion in their EFL Cup win over Liverpool earlier this month, meaning they could be very short on numbers in midfield if Bissouma does not make it.

One positive is that Ben Davies is expected to be involved after six weeks out with a hamstring injury, and if ready in time, will replace Djed Spence, with Archie Gray then moving to full-back.

Former Everton man Richarlison also made a comeback after two months out in midweek, being handed a late cameo by Postecoglou, and after scoring three goals against the Toffees last season, he will hope to get more minutes this weekend.

The Brazilian has some way to go to equal Son Heung-min's impressive record against Everton, though, as the Spurs captain has contributed to 13 goals in 14 starts against their upcoming opponents, and netted twice in the 4-0 win they inflicted on the Toffees in August.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup: Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence; Bergvall, Sarr, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son
