Tottenham lineup vs. Man United: Predicted XI for Premier League clash after quadruple injury boost

Multiple boosts, multiple changes: Predicted Spurs XI vs. Man United

Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou might have as many as four injured players back in his ranks for Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester United in North London.

The Lilywhites boss confirmed on Friday that Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie are in line for returns this weekend, and Brennan Johnson is on the cusp of a comeback from a calf problem.

James Maddison (also calf) is working on an imminent return too, but while Postecoglou said in his press conference that he could play on Sunday, he suggested that the trip to Ipswich Town on February 22 would be more realistic when quizzed by Tottenham's media team.

However, Wilson Odobert (hamstring) and Timo Werner (hamstring) are a bit further away despite also being re-integrated into full training, whereas Micky van de Ven (thigh), Cristian Romero (thigh), Dominic Solanke (knee), Radu Dragusin (ACL) and Richarlison (calf) are still out.

Vicario's return to fitness should see the Italian displace Antonin Kinsky in goal, but as Djed Spence has performed exceptionally well at left-back recently, Udogie should not expect to waltz back into the starting lineup.

Instead, Udogie might have to accept a spot on the bench as Spence, Archie Gray, Kevin Danso and Pedro Porro form the back four again, while only Lucas Bergvall might reprise his midfield role.

Indeed, Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr could displace Mikey Moore and Rodrigo Bentancur, as Dejan Kulusevski, Son Heung-min and Premier League debutant Mathys Tel join forces in the final third.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup: Vicario; Porro, Gray, Danso, Spence; Sarr, Bissouma, Bergvall; Kulusevski, Tel, Son
