Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Steffen Freund has rejoined the club as an assistant head coach to Andre Villas-Boas.
The 42-year-old German spent five years at White Hart Lane up until 2003.
Following spells with Kaiserslautern and Leicester City, he moved into coaching with the youth sections of the German national teams.
Fruend's appointment has seen Villas-Boas complete his coaching lineup at Spurs, having already hired Jose Mario Rocha, Daniel Sousa, Luis Martins and Tony Parks.
