Spurs dismiss NFL talks

Tottenham Hotspur have dismissed reports that they have been in talks with a potential London NFL franchise about the possibility of sharing their new ground.

The move would help the Premier League side finance the stadium, which is looking to be built by 2018.

Several reports suggest that Spurs have been discussing the idea with the NFL but these rumours have been quashed by a club spokesman, according to Sky Sports News.

NFL games that are played in England are usually hosted at Wembley, with the stadium's current contract to continue hosting games running until 2016.
