Tim Sherwood: 'Tottenham Hotspur know who they want in charge'

Tim Sherwood believes that Tottenham Hotspur chiefs already know who they want to take the team forward.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood believes that the club's hierarchy know who they want to take the team forward.

Widespread reports have claimed that the North London outfit will replace Sherwood in the summer, with Ajax's Frank de Boer said to be an option.

Sherwood has claimed that the results of Spurs' final two games against West Ham United and Aston Villa will not affect the club's managerial decision.

"It should not make a difference," Sherwood told reporters. "If we are relying on the last two games to decide the future of this club then it could be decided on a 30-yard shot or a referee's decision.

"The people upstairs will know who they want to run this club and the last two games should not make a difference."

Tottenham denied this week that they have made an official approach to De Boer.
