Tim Sherwood rues missed opportunities

Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood believes that missed opportunities undermined his team's effort in the 1-0 defeat to Norwich City today.

The Canaries snatched a vital victory in their battle to remain in the Premier League, thanks to a second-half Robert Snodgrass strike at Carrow Road.

"I thought we were poor in the first half, we saw an improvement after half time, but they got a goal that put the winds in their sails," he told reporters at full time.

"We created clear-cut chances after that, but if you don't score, you don't win football matches."
