Tim Sherwood rues missed opportunities

Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood says that missed opportunities undermined his team's effort in the 1-0 defeat to Norwich City today.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood believes that missed opportunities undermined his team's effort in the 1-0 defeat to Norwich City today.

The Canaries snatched a vital victory in their battle to remain in the Premier League, thanks to a second-half Robert Snodgrass strike at Carrow Road.

"I thought we were poor in the first half, we saw an improvement after half time, but they got a goal that put the winds in their sails," he told reporters at full time.

"We created clear-cut chances after that, but if you don't score, you don't win football matches."

Consequently, the North Londoners slip six points adrift of Liverpool in the race for Champions League qualification.
