Danny Rose impressed by Lewis Holtby

Danny Rose has revealed that he has been impressed with Tottenham Hotspur teammate Lewis Holtby at the Under-21 European Championship.

Holtby was part of the Germany side who lost 3-2 to the Netherlands in their opening match on Thursday.

"Germany played very well, and Lewis in particular," Rose, who is part of the England squad at the tournament in Israel, told London24.com. "Lewis stood out a great deal, he led his team by example."

Holtby joined Spurs on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Schalke 04 in January.
