Paul Robinson: 'Hugo Lloris is the best in Premier League'

Blackburn goalkeeper and former Tottenham player Paul Robinson believes that Spurs's Hugo Lloris is the best stopper in the Premier League.

Former England international Paul Robinson has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur's Hugo Lloris is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.

Robinson played for Spurs from 2004-2008 and the now Blackburn Rovers stopper believes that France international Lloris is the best in England at present.

He told talkSPORT: "I really like Lloris, he's one of Tottenham's captains. He's a leader. He comes off his line, he takes chances, he gets away with them and he's a fantastic shot stopper.

"And 75 or 80% of a goalkeeper's game at the moment is with his feet and I don't think there's anyone better than him in the Premier League at the moment."

Lloris is expected to be named in the Spurs side that contests the League Cup final with Chelsea on Sunday.
