Mauricio Pochettino: 'We showed great maturity in win over Norwich City'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says that his players showed "great maturity" in their win over Norwich City.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has praised his players for showing "great maturity" in their 3-0 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road this evening.

Dele Alli scored inside the first two minutes, while Harry Kane nabbed two, one of which came from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark.

"We showed great maturity." Pochettino told Spurs TV. "The second half was a different type of performance which was pleasing."

The Argentine also gave a special mention to Kevin Wimmer, who has come into the fold to replace long-term injured absentee Jan Vertonghen.

"I was very happy with Kevin Wimmer - he is young but produced a very good performance."

Spurs have moved up to third in the Premier League table and remain five points adrift of leaders Leicester City.
