Mauricio Pochettino: 'Tottenham Hotspur still improving'

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino admits that he is "very happy" with his side's performance against Chelsea, but insists that there is still more to come.

Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that there is still more to come from his Tottenham Hotspur side following their impressive showing against Chelsea last time out.

Spurs inflicted just a second defeat of the season on their opponents in a thrilling 5-3 victory at White Hart Lane on Thursday evening to continue their recent improvement under the Argentine.

Despite producing arguably their finest display of the season against their London rivals, Pochettino is adamant that the Tottenham squad are still adapting to his style of play.

"I think that we are very happy with what the team showed against Chelsea," he told told reporters. "It is not easy. You always need time to change things, but the team are starting to show what we want to see.

"We are in a process and we need to believe and build our way. Victories like this means you can improve more quickly."

Next up for Spurs is a trip to face Burnley in the FA Cup on Monday night.
