Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho admits that his side missed Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko against Watford on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that his side missed the presence of Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko during Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash with Watford.

The goalless draw at Vicarage Road means that Spurs are now without a win in their last four Premier League matches, which has left them eight points off fourth spot in the table.

Kane and Sissoko are both facing long spells on the sidelines through hamstring and knee injuries respectively, and Mourinho has conceded that the pair's physical qualities were missed against the Hornets.

"If you imagined our team today with Sissoko and Kane, you would find immediately two physical players. One guy who holds the ball up front and another who is powerful in midfield. In normal conditions we have physical players," Mourinho told reporters.

"It is the kind of game where you have a goalscorer, a guy who smells goals, probably you win it. The same against Liverpool, that missing link is there, but we are doing our work."

Tottenham will attempt to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they welcome basement side Norwich City on Wednesday night.
