Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris insists that his side must beat Southampton at the weekend if they are to finish in the top four of the Premier League table.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris believes that their Champions League bid will be "finished" if they lose to Southampton on Saturday.

Spurs are currently in fifth place, two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with a game in hand, and Lloris has insisted that his side must win at White Hart Lane to keep pace with their rivals.

The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I want to be in the next Champions League but if we don't get three points against Southampton, our opportunity will be finished."

The White Hart Lane outfit are also just three points behind third-placed Chelsea, whom they play on Wednesday evening.
